What changed for coins in FC 27
EA reworked the reward side of Ultimate Team for this season, and most of the changes touch coins directly. In short: matches pay more, a larger part of the rewards can be sold, and balances across the player base grew quickly after launch. Here is what that means for anyone thinking about FC 27 coins.
Matches pay more
In its launch notes EA compares FC 27 with the previous game. A match in FC 26 typically gave roughly 500 to 600 coins; Champions and Rivals in FC 27 have the potential to reward several times more, and Squad Battles pays more as well. Every eligible match also brings 15 to 100 Season Points, up to 850 a day.
More rewards you can sell
EA says a much bigger share of what Objectives and game modes hand out can now be traded, with more of it paid as coins or tradeable packs. In Division Rivals every pack reward was tradeable at launch. The Division 1 upgraded rewards, as EA listed them, include 95,000 coins next to several gold player packs, all of which can end up on the Transfer Market.
Champions and Squad Battles
The 15-match Champions Finals are back, with higher coin rewards than in FC 26. Qualification points can now be collected in Rivals as well as Squad Battles, and Division 6 is no longer required to take part. Squad Battles stays in the game with weekly competition, ranks, replayable featured squads and Co-Op.
Streamlined SBCs and new pack names
Streamlined SBCsA new kind of Squad Building Challenge in FC 27: a submission is scored by overall rating, rarity and Holographic status instead of strict puzzle rules. score a submission by overall rating, rarity and Holographic status, take duplicates and accept partial submissions; they reached the Companion App on 28 September. Bronze, silver and gold items have lost the Common and Rare split, and pack names now describe size, from Mini up to Giant. Trading tips written for older games that lean on those labels need a second look.
Balances grew fast
On 1 October EA reported coin balances more than 50% above last season’s level at the same stage. What that does to the price of FC 27 coins nobody can say in advance. The figure on this site comes from our partner marketplace every morning, and the price history shows how it has moved since we started recording.
When your club can take a delivery
A delivery of FC 27 coins needs the Web App, and the Transfer Market inside it must be open before anything can start. EA unlocks the market in two separate steps, and both matter.
New clubs: Graduated Access
New players open the Transfer Market and Champions by working through three Objective groups in this order: first The Journey Begins, next First Team Dreams and finally Rising Through the Ranks. Full access follows within 24 hours, or 48 on PC. Until then you can list items, but searching, bidding and buying stay locked.
Returning players
Accounts in good standing that earned access before skip those steps in the game. For the apps, EA granted access at launch to anyone who had earned it in an earlier game before the cut-off: 1 August 2026 for FC 26, 1 August 2025 for FC 25, 1 August 2024 for FC 24.
The separate Web App lock
Finishing Graduated Access does not open the app market by itself. Everyone else earns that with active daysEA’s term: a calendar day (UTC) on which you played three full Ultimate Team matches and logged in to the Web or Companion App.. A good-standing account normally needs two of them, or at least four when the same device has seen other Ultimate Team accounts.
After 7 November
From 7 November 2026, 23:59:50 UTC, both apps need at least one FC 27 Ultimate Team session on your console or PC first. EA advisors cannot speed the unlock up or name a day for it; you learn about it from a message in the game.
Ordering FC 27 coins

Spending FC 27 coins wisely
Before you buy, decide what the coins are for. On the Transfer Market they buy players outright; in squad challenges they pay for the cards you hand in. A submission is final: whatever card you submit to an SBC leaves your club for good. Streamlined SBCs make planning easier, because they accept duplicates and partial submissions, so cards you already own can go in before you buy anything extra.
Items that EA labels untradeable never reach the Transfer Market, so no coin balance, however large, will buy one from another player. Untradeable rewards from Objectives work the same way: you earn them by playing, never by buying. Check that the cards on your list can actually be traded, and size the purchase for those alone.
Delivery during the season
The delivery promise is the same for every amount: within 2 hours once the details have arrived. A larger order is moved in more trades, so it can use more of that window; you can see how far the delivery has got in the chat of your order. Buying the whole amount at once keeps it to one delivery and one set of backup codes.

EA says such an account normally gets access after 2 active days, or at least 4 if other Ultimate Team accounts were used on the same device.
What is the daily cap on Season Points in FC 27?

FC 27 coins: questions
Do I need the Web App to receive FC 27 coins?
Yes. Delivery by Comfort Trade happens in EA’s browser app, which means its Transfer Market has to be open for your club before a trader can begin. EA unlocks that market separately from the one inside the game, normally after two active days for an account in good standing. Check it before paying, since a locked market holds the FC 27 coins back until it opens.
Why is the Transfer Market locked in my new FC 27 club?
New accounts get a limited market on purpose: EA says it protects the economy from rule-breaking. Go to Ultimate Team, then Objectives, and complete three groups, starting with The Journey Begins, followed by First Team Dreams and, last of all, Rising Through the Ranks. Full access follows within 24 hours on consoles and 48 hours on PC; in the meantime you may list items, though searching, bidding and buying stay closed.
Will the new FC 27 rewards make coins cheaper?
Nobody can say that in advance. EA reports that matches now pay several times more coins than in FC 26, and that balances in early October stood more than 50% above the previous season. What we can show is the real price day by day: the order card uses today’s rate, and the price page keeps a history so you can judge the trend yourself.
What changes for the apps on 7 November 2026?
From 23:59:50 UTC that day, the Web and Companion apps keep working only for players who have played FC 27 Ultimate Team at least once on a PlayStation, Xbox or PC. If so far you have used only the apps, start the game itself before that date; without app access a Comfort Trade delivery of FC 27 coins may not be able to begin.
Can I order FC 27 coins for Nintendo Switch?
No. The order card covers PlayStation, Xbox and PC only. Switch and Switch 2 keep their Ultimate Team progress between themselves; it does not travel to any other platform, and Switch has no cross-play. That makes Switch a separate case which this site does not cover, so coins ordered here could not reach a club on those consoles.
Are FC 27 coins the same as FC coins?
Yes, it is one Ultimate Team currency. FC 27 coins is simply the name players use this season, the way they said FC 26 coins a year ago, and some still call them FUT or FIFA coins. The coins you order here go to your FC 27 club on the platform you choose, and the season name will change again with the next game.
